Coronavirus Cases In Kenya Rise To Seven


Three more cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in Kenya bringing a total of all confirmed cases to seven.

Health CS Mutahi Kagwe says that the three new cases include a couple that had traveled from Madrid, Spain through Dubai and a Burundian National who had traveled from Dubai to Kenya arriving on Tuesday.

Kagwe says that the Burundian case was picked at the airport by officials conducting screening.

“What we are doing now is that tracing of persons who may have come into contact with the patients,” stated Kagwe.

Kagwe says that 18 cases are currently admitted at Mbagathi Hospital while seven others turned negative.

Those who turned negative are however currently being quarantined at home.

Kagwe says that the government is in contact with Doctors from China who are sharing information on how to handle the pandemic.
