Coronavirus cases rise to 32,803 after 246 more test positive
Two hundred and forty six more people have tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
This brings the total number of people who have tested positive for the virus so far to 32,803.
Health CS Rashid Aman says that the the 246 cases come from a sample size of 4149 tested over the last 24 hours.
Five more people have unfortunately died of the disease while another 160 people have recovered from the virus.
Meanwhile Nairobi continues to lead with Covid-19 cases with, 75, Kiambu 28, Kisumu 18, Machakos 16, Garissa 13, Lamu 10, Migori 9, Turkana 9, Uasin Gishu 8 Mombasa 7, Taita Taveta 7, Nyeri 6, Kilifi 5, Murang’a 4, Laikipia 4, Kitui 4, Kajiado 3, Kwale 3, Makueni, Embu, Nakuru, Nandi and Baringo 2 cases each while Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega, Nyamira, Tana River, Isiolo and Tharaka Nithi had one case each.
The 75 cases in Nairobi were spread out as follows; Kasarani 8, Embakasi South, Makadara and Westlands 7 cases each while Embakasi East and Kamukunji had 6 cases each, Dagoretti North, Dagoretti South, Embakasi West, Kibra and Langata all had 4 cases each, Mathare and Ruaraka 3 cases each while while Embakasi North, Roysambu, Starehe and Embakasi Central had 2 cases each.
