A section Kenyans now want parliament to approve the supplementary budget being drafted by Treasury CS henry Rotich in order to bring down the cost of living.
The Kenyans who spoke to Ghetto Radio News say that the cost of living has gone so high and many businesses are collapsing as a result.
They claim the current cost of living and the state of joblessness among Kenyans has caused the gap between the rich and the poor to widen.
“The current status has cost us a lot, the gap between the poor and the rich keeps widening due to the current hard times. We want parliamenterians to thin of us, the same way they think of themselves when increasing their salaries,” they said.
The interviews which were carried in Mathare claimed that majority of the youth who scored highly in their Secondary and University education are yet to get employment
