Could Kogalo sensational wingback “Marcelo” solve Stars woes?
Finally the problem of the National team the Harambee Stars team in the left back position seems to end with the Discovery of Gor Mahia’s new sensation left back Eric “Marcelo” Ouma’s talent.
In recent times the National team Coaches have been using makeshift players in both the left and the right back positions deploying central defenders in that department.
The Former Kakamega High School Student has been in good form that has seen him dislodge Rwandese international import Sibomanna in the starting eleven of Kogalo.
His impressive form at K’Ogalo has seen him handed both junior and senior team call ups in the National team.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio Sports after the match Marcelo said he hopes to solve the problem in department.
“ Kenya has had a problem in that department for long time and am hoping to help now that i have been called up in the national team squad,” said Ouma.
Ouma has been scintillating least to say for the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions on the left back position recording three assists in 12 appearances in all competitions so far.
He has recorded three assist in 12 appearances in all competitions the recent being the match against Mathare United where he helped his team to a 2-0 win.
Harambee Stars takes on Sudan on May 27, 2016 at Kasarani Stadium, before playing Tanzania, two days later, at the same venue.
In the first encounter, Kenya will field a squad of emerging stars, while the second match will be a full international friendly.
