We’ve all done a double take when mistaking a random person on the street for someone we know or know of.
According to Wikipedia;
In popular Western culture, a look-alike is a person who bears a close physical resemblance to a celebrity or politician. Many look-alikes earn a living by making guest appearances at public events or by performing on television or film, playing the person they resemble. A large variety of celebrity look-alike images can be found throughout the web, including images placed by professional agencies that offer their services, a good example being Vybz Kartel’s look alike.
But does everyone have a doppelganger? There’s a fairly decent chance of it, actually, thanks to the limited number of genes that influence facial features. Folk wisdom has it that everyone has a doppelganger; somewhere out there there’s a perfect duplicate of you, with your mother’s eyes, your father’s nose and that addictive smile your friends tell you about .
Locally, Swaleh Mdoe and O.J would attest to that. Lilian Muli and Charity Kimani also resemble each other closely. Others claim that Marya and Joline of Tahidi High also bear close resemblance.
However, for Pilsner’s Dj Joe Mfalme, the story takes a slight turn.
The King of turntables would be shocked after it hits that there is a 4-year-old young man who takes after his physical appearance expecially his facial features!
Wayne cites Dj Joe’s bald head, eyes and nose. The toddler however has a major smile that we are not sure Joe has coz he is barely seen smiling.
The internet could easily call the DJ a deadbeat dad- blame on genetic mystery.
As a matter of facts, it will be safe to warn you that Wayne’s real dad is there and so present in his life. Denno- a graphic designer in Ruai town was also perplexed when i suggested we feature the son in this….but later agreed.
