County Governments accused for employing from one ethnic group


kaparoMost county governments have failed to adhere to the NCIC act and county governments act requiring them not to employ more than two thirds of the staff from one ethnic community.

This is according to research done by the National cohesion and Integration Commission NCIC that has also revealed that Kirinyaga and Nandi counties have only employed people from one dominant community.

NCIC chair Francis ole Kaparo says only 15 of 47 counties have adhered to county governments act that were giving more than 30% of there vacancies to communities that are not dominant in there areas.
