Former TV journalist Jackie Maribe and her ex-fiance Joseph Irungu will know their fate on Friday over the alleged involvement in murder of late businesswoman Monica Kimani.

High Court Judge Grace Nzioka will deliver the judgement in an open court today after the court postponed to deliver its verdict for the second time.
In October, the judge was supposed to deliver the judgement following the conclusion of the trial in July, but she didn’t as it was said that she was sick, the ruling would be pushed to 15th December 2023 but did not materialize.
Issuing the directive, Justice Lady Grace Nzioka stated that she received the exhibits she had long requested a few hours before the ruling, thus limiting her time to prepare the verdict.
Jowie is the first accused person in the murder trial of Monica.He was charged alongside Jacque Maribe in 2018.
Monica’s body was found at her Lamuria Gardens Apartment on Kitale Lane off Denis Pritt Road in Kilimani.
