Crackdown On Nairobi Shisha Joints To Begin


shishaThe Nairobi City County Alcoholic Drink Licensing Board will next month begin a crackdown a crackdown on shisha joints in the city.

The board’s chairman Vincent Shimoli has said that all shisha outlets have been put on notice to either comply with the required conditions or risk closure.

Mr Shimoli also said the county has procured three motor vehicles which will be used to conduct impromptu inspections on such establishments in the city.

He also cautioned parents who abdicate their roles and responsibilities of taking care of their children saying they are liable to prosecution for neglect as per the Children’s Act Cap 141.
