Sarah Omondi blessed with an Eye of Design and Creativity

Joyce Omondi’s mother, Sarah Omondi, said that she passionately loves designing and creativity. She was taught how to stitch by her mother.

While in high school, she could stitch and take her items for exhibitions. “There’s something to do with designs and creativity in my family that has blossomed…

I like stitching, just like my grandmother. In form two I would stitch with my hands, and things would go for exhibition,” she said.

“I designed my wedding dress and my bridesmaid’s outfits. I don’t like dressing and you are there everybody is looking at you. I’m very choosy and picky on what to wear and in front of who.

Am also very particular about how my body looks in a dress. I like to dress and feel comfortable, not showing off my curves,” she said.

Sarah Omondi’s role in Guarding the family’s Privacy

Her protective stance towards her daughter extended to keeping Joyce’s relationship private until shortly before her wedding.

She was assertive about maintaining her family’s privacy and extending it to her daughter, Joyce.

“Knowing the type of talents that are out there and how people use them, I found myself guarding and protecting her.

Even when it came to the wedding and she did want people to know, I was like okay I understand” she said.
