Dandora school facing closure over poor hygiene

Tom Mboya Primary School in Dandora, Nairobi has been given 21 day by the Nairobi County Public Health office to upgrade the unhygienic state of the school or face closure.

The school for a long time now has been crippled by poor sanitation issues putting the lives of the children at the risk of attracting diseases.

The Nairobi County government has however intervened to the situation by issuing a 21 day notice to upgrade the conditions.

The Ministry of Education in Nairobi County has moved to savage the condition by employing workers to renovate the drainage system and the school.

The school has a population of 1300 students making them  share the scares resources.
