A 35 year man was yesterday arrested in relation with the murder of a 26 year old man last week.
Shadrack Njuguna Mwikamba allegedly stabbed Moses Mburu Mwihaki with a kitchen knife after a quarrel.
Mwikamba was arrested in Murang’a by DCI detectives where he had allegedly gone into hiding.
“35-Year-Old Shadrack Njuguna Mwikamba; a suspect in the gruesome Murder of Moses Mburu Mwihaki that occurred on 25th September 2020 was today arrested in an early morning raid by Murang’a-based detectives,” said the DCI.
Police say they recovered a murder weapon.
The suspect is currently in police hiding awaiting to be arraigned in court with murder charges.
