“We competed against teams from Europe and South America and I can say that we recorded an impressive performance since we got the sixth place out of ten in the world and the team showed improvement in every match they played,” said Omole.
He further describes their experience in Brazil as a good one because of their interactions with some of the best teams which motivated them to work extra hard.
The experience and exposure also got them to perfect a few weaknesses as they prepared for the next round of the games and other future competitions.
On the other hand, the football headcoach for the women’s team expressed his gratitude to the government for their extended support while outside the country.
Coach Ben described the experience as a deadly one as the rest of the teams were a lot more prepared than them.

“Many teams from Africa wanted to participate in the games but we were the only team from Africa, we have represented Kenya and Africa at large,”said Ben.
