A rescue operation is continuing in southern Turkey northern Syria after two huge earthquakes killed more than 4,300 people.
The search was hampered by cold weather overnight and families who are now homeless were forced to gather around fires in order to stay warm.
Leaders from around the world have responded with offers of help.
President William Ruto led other Heads of state in condoling with Turkey and Syria following the deadly earthquake.
In a tweet the head of state said Kenya stands in solidarity with the two countries.
“Our hearts go out to the people of Türkiye and Syria following the loss of life caused by the earthquake,” The President said.
“We mourn with families who have lost loved ones and wish all those injured a quick recovery, “he added.
