Diamond manager Sallam SK Mendez is on his way out of Wasafi record label after the two disagreed on management and business interests.
According to the reports Salam has stopped accompanying Diamond to events including those that involves corporate.
“Sio lazima tuzungumze ama tupige picha ndio watu wajue tuko pamoja ila nikiitiwa biashara tutafanya.” Salaam said in an interview.
Salaam has also opened his own radio station Mjini FM competing with Diamonds’ Wasafi FM which is a clear illustration that the two are now competitors.

“Radio yangu niliifingua kuniruhusu kufanya mambo yangu sio ya mtu mwingine Kwa hivyo sio hoja hiyo.” Sallam said.
The reports claimed Diamond wasn’t happy because he saw this as a direct competition to his Wasafi FM station.
Mendez is one of the Diamonds’ long-serving top international manager and his exist would be a big blow to Diamond.
