Bongo Star Diamond Platnumz has condemn the Tanzanian government for not protecting music investors despite their contribution to growth of Tanzania’s economy.
The WCB boss when speaking at the launch of Barnaba Album says that their government has failed completely to come up with structures and policies that define music investment.
He took a swipe at artists who have ditched his record label accusing them of not honouring their contract obligations but instead use top government officials and top politicians to breach the same contracts when exiting.
The latest artist to ditch WCB is Rayvanny who was slapped with Tshs 1 billion as an exit fee.
Before Harmonize used his close relationship with former president the late John Magufuli to secure his exit from WCB after falling out with Diamond.
Diamond however, stated that unnecessary beefs between musicians in Tanzania is derailing music growth in the region.
