Tanzania musician Diamond Platinumz and Zuchu have expressed their frustrations after their song Mtasubiri was banned by the Tanzanian Communications Regulatory Authority.
Diamond has questioned the reason behind the ban of the video that according to the government had portrayed the church in a bad way.
The WCB president claimed that no church regulations were broken during the shooting of the video.
“Najiuliza kuna baya lolote limefanyika kwenye hio scene? Mlivaa vimini? Hapana..Mlitwerk ama mliimba matusi humo kanisani? Hapana…mlivuta sigara au bangi humo? Hapana…Mlikiss ama kunywa pombe humo? Hapana…simu iliita, ulipokelea ndani? Hapana!” says Diamond.
Zuchu on the other hand said that they had asked for permission to shoot the scene during the choir practice.
The Tanzanian Communication Regulatory Authority banned the video from being played on mainstream and social media outlets in Tanzania.
‘Mtasubiri’ video was released last month and is currently trending at number two will more than 10 million views.
