Diamond’s manager and Member of Parliament for Morogoro South Hamisi Taletale popularly known as Babu Tale has revealed that Diamond’s new song ‘Zuwena’ was written four years ago.
Through an Instagram post, Babu Tale stated that him and other manager’s namely Mkubwa Fella and Sallam Sk had listened to the song countless of times and lost hope of it’s premiership into the market that’s after sourcing for the video’s director who was ready for the task.
“Kingine ambacho hamkijui kwenye huu wimbo #Zuena nikwamba umerekodiwa miaka minne (4)iliopita yani mimi na wenzangu @mkubwafellatmk @sallam_sk tumeusikiliza mpk tukaukatia tamaa kua hautatoka ..niliwahi kumtafuta @lamataleah awe Dir wa huu wimbo na alikua tayari ” wrote Tale
Opportune Moment
Babu Tale further revealed that Diamond was waiting for the opportune moment to release the song.
“Tatizo ilikua kwa mwanamziki mwenyewe alidai muda wahuu wimbo kutoka bado na ikiwa tayari nitakwambia Boss” continued Tale
And when the moment came, Diamond shared with Tale that he’ll be the video’s director.This was a surprise for Tale who thought that the song was ‘too old’ and wouldn’t reach high expectations but alas! he was wrong.
“Bas mwezi mmoja nyuma kanambia huu ndio mwaka wa #ZUWENA kutoka na nitaidirect mwenyewe..niliogopa kwakua niliona wimbo umekaa sana ndani…so nikweli utafika kule tunapotaka ufike? Ghafla wimbo umefika na umekua mkubwa Africa..kuna chakujifunza hapa..Kizuri ni Kizuri tu hata ufunike na gunia” Added Tale
Through his long post,Tale summed up by saying that there’s two more songs done by Diamond over seven years ago which will be released soon and he’s looking forward to their success.

Storyline
In the song ‘Zuwena’ Diamond delves on the theme of death, the aftermath that befalls his sister in law after the death of his brother.
After being bequeathed of her share of the late’s inheritance,life tosses Zuwena in a life of partying and merrymaking unlike her former self.
“Zuwena sio tena wa ibada na dini,sadaka chenji asaidie,siku hizi kageuka pedeshee wa mjini kutunza bendi wamsifie ” sings Diamond partly.
