Did  DJ Pinye really smack Khaligraph’s head with CD? That’s the biggest question everyone is asking following the damning revelation by comedian, DJ Shiti.

The popular comedian was reacting to the current affairs of the creative industry when he touched on past misfortunes faced by artistes while seeking their big breaks.

According to DJ Shiti, many artistes back in the days relied on T.v which meant that they had to be in good books with the producers and presenters.

Another lot who went through hell are female artistes who had to give in to sexual demands in order to be given exposure.

It’s in this light that Shiti recalled what Khaligraph went through in the hands of a leading T.v producer and DJ.

Even though he didn’t mention Pinye directly, listening to him brought memories of Pinye’s squabbles with several artistes including Khaligraph himself.

Shiti further pointed out at the emergence of the social media space which has led to mushrooming of stars.

However, he noted that most of them lack discipline with no mentors to offer them guidance.

Khaligraph’s Beef With Pinye

Khaligraph is on record affirming that DJ Pinye blacked him out while seeking stardom.

In one of his Instagram post’s in 2018, Khaligraph told Pinye that he was lucky.

The burly rapper revealed that he had grown to a more respectful person otherwise he would have churned out a distrack.

“Buda uko na bahati siku hizi nimekua mpole kiasi na nina ka heshima fulani, otherwise distrack ingekuwa ishatembea” wrote Khaligraph partly.

On his part, Pinye had listed his reasons for blocking certain music terming them mediocre.

Some of the artistes he singled out back then were DNA and Khaligraph among others.

If Pinye really smacked Khaligraph’s head with his CD then the Mazishi rapper indeed deserves his big attitude and ego because after all he saw it all and conquered.

Remember Khaligraph’s savage reply to Anto Neosoul when he sought to know who gave the former title ‘King Of Rap’, then you’ll understand that Khaligraph is undoubtedly the OG.

Today, Khaligraph in one of Africa’s leading lights as far as Hip hop is concerned.
