Diddy Promises To Offset Black Rob’s Funeral Expenses Amid Backlash
Rapper and Business Mogul Diddy has bowed to pressure from netizens and promised to make sure that Black Rob is given a decent send off.
Black Rob who’s best remembered for his hit “Whoa” died recently at the age of 51 from cardiac arrest caused by a rare kidney disease at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
His longtime friend and former stable mate Curry with whom they featured on Diddy’s song ‘Bad Boys For Life’ said that they reconnected with Diddy at the hospital before the rapper died.
It is after the reconnection that Diddy announced to support the then ailing artist.
A ‘Go Fund Me’ account had already been set to help clear Black Rob’s medical expenses and to secure him an apartment for he had been homeless for sometimes.
Mourning his former signee Diddy took to Instagram and posted a photo of him with Black Rob followed by a condolence note to which netizens not only accused him of turning a blind on the late Star but also branded him as manipulative and evil minded.
“💔 Rest in power King @therealblackrob ! As I listen to your records today there’s one thing that they all have in common! You have made millions of people all over the world feel good and dance! You are one of a kind! GOD BLESS! 🙏🏿 Love. 🖤💫✨ You will be truly missed!!!! 💔,” wrote Diddy.
