Embattled Disk Jockey Michael Macharia Njiiri popularly known as DJ Brownskin has been charged with three counts among them aiding the his wife’s suicide.
Other counts in the charge sheet during his arraignment in court today include concealing information on his wife Sharon Njeri’s death and also destroying evidence.
Documents seen by Ghetto Radio reporter also indicate that DJ Brownskin did not use reasonable cause to prevent Njeri’s suicide.
“On 29th July 2022, knowing that Sharon was designed to take poison, intentionally failed to use reasonable cause to prevent the planned suicide,” reads the charge sheet.

DJ deleted information
On the count of destroying evidence, the DJ was accused of knowingly deleting information and deactivating a sim card registered under his name.
It further states that he knew that the investigating officers might need to retrieve evidence for judicial proceedings.
“On 1st June 2022, purposely destroyed the material information in your possession knowing that the police might need as evidence in judicial proceedings,” The court offer read to the accused.
Browns skin will be detained in prison custody for three days pending pre-bail assessment report by the probation officers.
He was arrested on June 1 at a club in Kasarani after a video surfaced and went viral in April showing what appeared to be him recording his wife taking poison.
