DJ Double Trouble served his London fans with a special treat of Reggae, Dancehall, and Afrobeats during the Mashujaa Day celebrations.
The globe-trotting entertainer brought the house down alongside Europe-based Kenyan singer, Treesha at Enish ‘IIford’.
Double Trouble had used social media to document his journey right from departure while also engaging his fans.
He did let them know when he landed safely miles away from home.
“Greetings from the Kings land, landed safe” partly read his post with a photo at the airport.
And before the showdown, he shared his photo with the sassy singer announcing having a successful sound check.
Who Is Treesha
Treesha is a Kenyan artist real name Patricia Wambui Mwaura.
She was born and bred in Nairobi and loved music from a tender age.
Her father now deceased, Captain John Ben Mwaura who sang and played the guitar was her source of inspiration.
Her father is also credited for inspiring global stars like Aretha Franklin, Mary J Blige, Tracy Chapman, Bob Marley and Beyonce.
Treesha moved to Europe where she trained as a nurse and later joined reggae icon, Gentleman as a backup vocalist.
She currently has two songs from her first album ‘We need Love’ and ‘Don’t Do It’ both collaborative pieces getting good reviews on the German reggae charts.
Both Trouble and Treesha seem to be cultivating on the power of collaborations in enlarging their tentacles.
