Renowned American music producer Khaled Mohammed commonly known as Dj Khaled has jetted in Jamaica for the preparation of Buju Banton’s new album.
The ‘We The Best’ Boss was in the company of his wife, Nicole Tuck and his two sons Asahd Khaled and Aalam Khaled when they received the warm welcome from the ‘Champion’ hit maker.
In a video shared on Instagram Buju Banton is seen speaking to the young Aalam.
“I just a see you inna di flesh. May God bless you, may God guide you, may God protect you, may God keep you holy. May your life be prosperous and whatever you do may prosper,” he continued.
Dj Khaled also shared a video on his social media showing the ‘Destiny’ Singer embracing Dj Khaled’s other son Ahsad while engaging him in a light talk.
This seemed as Buju’s first meeting with the record producer’s youngest son-Aalam, unlike Ahsad who he had already met in person.
The reggae Singer and the veteran producer share a long history of friendship, in fact Dj Khaled is always credited as the one who propelled Buju’s biggest break.
Dj Khaled has been a frequent visitor to the Island and classifies himself as an original “Yaad Man”.
He has always shown his dalliance with Jamaica’s culture and music which is dear to his heart.
The music mogul who debuted as a deejay has been able to build a lasting relationship with some of Jamaica’s top dancehall Star’s like Sizzla, Bounty Killer and Buju Banton.
Us based dancehall Star Mavado is also signed to his stable ‘We The Best’ music.
