DJ Khaled Roasted For Late Condemnation Of Palestine, Israeli Wars
Renowned US Record Producer and President of ‘We The Best Music’ DJ Khaled has received a backlash from netizens for coming late in condemning the feuding Palestine and Israeli warring factions.
The former Disc Jockey has roots of Palestinians and is also a staunch Muslim, his two sons Asahd and Aalam also follow through his Islamic lineage.
However, due to the negative comments he was receiving concerning his silence on the raging war, Khaled had to post a peaceful statement on his Instagram.
“Sending love❤️ and light ? and prayers ?to my Palestinian ??brothers & sisters and Everyone around the world ?IM PRAYING FOR PEACE AND LOVE TO THE WORLD, PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE! ???” the words were posted beneath the picture of a dome mosque with worshipers in prayer.
A section of netizens still thronged the comments section hitting out at the Deejay.
” After thousands of people begged you to bring light to this?? Keep it we good, ” fired Melz-alk.
“Inform the people what’s going on. This post isn’t helping, ” wrote Moe – Tamimi.
” Sir after being bullied into saying something… is this all you gotta say ?,” posed Hussians 550.
The United Nations Human Rights has also come forth and condemned the fighting.
“We are deeply concerned at the escalation of violence in occupied #Palestine, icl. #EastJerusalem and #Israel. We condemn All violence and all incitement to violence. No force should be used against those exercising their rights peacefully,” a statement from the UN’s Twitter Handle read.
The celebrated producer has in the past shown allegiance to Jamaica for its rich culture and musical aspects, he is referred in the Island as a ‘Yardman’.
His latest album ‘Khaled Khaled’ which he has featured various Jamaican dancehall Star’s and other leading global Stars was prepared in the Caribbean nation.
With the recent eruption of the middle east war, Khaled has been busy promoting his new album which has proved to be one of a kind in today’s history.
