The National government and County governments have ordered all doctors to report back to immediately or face disciplinary action.
Speaking at a media briefing, Council of Governors Chair Peter Munya says the government will order disciplinary action on doctors who will not resume work

Munya says the government will however backdate the new salary offer to doctors who have resumed duty to January 2017.
Munya stated that doctors who have resumed duty will be accorded security and also review the role of the doctor’s union with a possibility of reverting it to the Health Ministry.
