Drake Treats Fans To ‘Dave’s Hot Chicken’ On Birthday

Canadian rapper Aubrey Graham better known by his stage name Drake or his alias Champagne Papi is celebrating his 36th birthday today and he will be doing it in a unique way.

The rapper known for popularizing singing and R&B sensibilities in Hip Hop, has partnered with a restaurant Dave’s Hot Chicken to serve free chicken as birthday gifts to those that visit and show that they follow the restaurant on Instagram or TikTok.

To celebrate his birthday and the company’s first advertising campaign, “Don’t Die Before You Try It,” Drake is set to give out free Dave’s Hot Chicken Sliders and Tenders.

On October 24, Dave’s Hot Chicken locations will be offering the birthday gifts to those that visit and show that they follow the restaurant on Instagram or TikTok. Each Dave’s Hot Chicken Slider and Tenders will be “spiced-to-order” to customer heat level preferences.

“Dave’s Hot Chicken will blow your mind! Every Tender is hot, juicy, and spicy. Our guests across the world have shown the same level of enthusiasm for this company that the founders had five years ago when they were operating a little pop-up in Hollywood. Now, in celebration of his birthday and our first national ad campaign, our most famous investor wanted to give something back to fans by letting everyone try Dave’s Hot Chicken on him.” says Bill Phelps, Dave’s Hot Chicken’s CEO.

Becoming America’s fastest-growing restaurant back in May, Dave’s Hot Chicken has come a long way from its roots in an East Hollywood parking lot.

Included in the journey was investment from Drake which was done last year in September and the rapper gave a brief of how he decided to be part of the restaurants’ investors.

“I tried the food and it was amazing. After meeting the founders and hearing their story, I jumped at the opportunity to invest.” He said.
