Drama as Ringtone arrives in court in an ambulance
Self-proclaimed president of gospel musician Ringtone Apoko has caused an uproar after he hired an ambulance to attend a court session in his case with blogger Robert Alai.
Taking to his Instagram page, the gospel musician shared a photo of himself on a stretcher inside an ambulance.
He also welcomed his followers to witness the hearing of the case between him and the blogger at the Kibera Law court
“RINGTONE IS LEAVING HOSPITAL HEADED TO COURT FOR HIS CASE AGAINST ROBERT ALAI. ITS FROM 9AM AT KIBERA LAW COURT NAIROBI ALL ARE WELCOME (manager post),” read the post.
The blogger and the musician were involved in a road drama on Friday last week where the blogger hit the musician with a rungu.
The blogger was arrested and detained at the Kilimani Police Station on allegations of assaulting the artist Ringtone Apoko.
The musician however informed his fans that the blogger was released on cash bail but was to attend the court hearing.
He also left fans wondering if the drama was all a fake after posting a video of him with the bandage on the left side rather than the right.
However Kenyans on Twitter had a different opinion with the way the singer arrived in court.

Some were of the opinion that Alai had assaulted the musician and should be charged while others were saying that the musician was exaggerating.
”If you are going to remain silent when such occasions which are malicious happen then we’re losing it as a country due to the fact that these acts are signs of backwardness and barbaric behaviours that should never be condoned,” wrote @ItsOmondi.
“Drama King Mr. Ringtone hired an entire Ambulance to bring him to Kibera Law Courts. This is a joke even if he’s trying make a case out of it,” wrote Nameloklaw.
Do you think he was exaggerating going to court in an ambulance?
