Detectives from the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission today morning raided the homes of Governor Okoth Obado in Migori and Nairobi.

The EACC officers raided Obado’s home in Migori and Nairobi in search of documents and material to aid in an ongoing probe on corruption allegations against him.

The Migori Governor is accused of siphoning Sh2 billion of the county cash through bank accounts registered by his family members.

The (EACC) officers also raided the Migori County government offices.

Some of the county administration’s chief officers and directors have recorded statements with EACC on corruption matters.
