A section of residents in Eastleigh’s Motherland slums are decrying a garbage menace that has engulfed the area.
Juliet Waithera a resident in Eastleigh claims that the uncollected garbage has in turn blocked sewer lines making them overflow into their houses.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio News, Waithera says that the garbage and the flies are exposing them to waterbone diseases like cholera.

Waithera claims that they have tried to reach out to NMS and the area leaders with regards to the garbage to no success.
Reports however indicate that NMS has already launched the collection of garbage in the area.
NMS has also warned residents against careless dumping of garbage.
