Eastleigh Traders In Court To Object Orders Allowing Hawkers On The Streets

Eastleigh Business District Association is planning to move to court to object the court order that allowed hawkers to operate on First and Second Avenues in Eastleigh.

Speaking exclusively to Ghetto Radio the association’s communication officer Mr Ahmed Smart says their lawyers will in conjuction with city hall will be in court today to object the move.

Smart says that all shops remain closed indefinately until the matter is resolved.This comes after violence was witnessed between hawkers and bussiness owners.

Eastleigh Business District Association is demanding the government to evacuate hawkers blocking the entrance to their bussiness and relocate to markets designated for them.
