Famous Blogger Edgar Obare has assured fans that his brother has been found well and alive without being hurt.
The blogger says that his brother was found by a Good Samaritan in Roysambu within Nairobi County.
He also added that the kidnappers had broken into his brother’s house and damaged things as if they were looking for something.
“He has been found. In Roysambu by a Good Samaritan, she helped him with a phone and he called the family and we sent him an Uber. They also broke into his house and trashed the place,” he said.
Edgar had yesterday pleaded with his followers on Instagram to help him look for his brother who was kidnapped on Saturday.
He said that the kidnappers tortured his brother in order to get information of his whereabouts at the moment.
“I would like to ask you to pray for my family. Saturday night I was informed that they kidnapped my brother. They kidnapped him, tortured him, trying to get information about my whereabouts, that’s one of the scariest thing,” said Obare.
The blogger said that he is disappointed with Kenyans for attacking his family members in order to get information of his whereabouts.
“I am so sad that he had to go through that, and that some people in this country would go so low and go after my family. I hate this country, how they get away with everything,” Edgar Obare said.
He also said that his brother was once again taken captive by DCI officers who locked him for hours asking for where he is.
The kidnapping of his brother comes weeks after he had done a story exposing Kenyan celebrities who are involved in the ‘wash wash’ business.
His official Instagram account was also deactivated without any reason but he assured his fans that he is working hard to get it back.
