Education Levels In The Country Decline By 100 pc
The Kenya National Union of Teachers has called for the establishment of a body to investigate the quality of education being offered in all the counties.
Sossion was speaking during the launch of a report on the state of education in Kenya that revealed that education levels in the country have gone down in the past five years.
The report also revealed that half of the women in the country can barely read a standard two book.
Emmanuel Manyasa from Uwezo attributed the decline of education levels in the country to the absenteeism of both teachers and pupils and lack of equitable distribution of resources.
