They say artists are mirrors for the society and their acts ought to be emulated as they positively impact generations.

He’s back again the artiste who never leaves his megaphone down, Samuel Msagha popularly known as Eltezzy alias Mr Riebebee(Gim Estates).

He believes in using his powerful voice not only in doing advertisements and music but also rallying the community to partake in matters of national interest.

This time round, Eltezzy is advocating for climate action with his latest release dubbed Plant A Tree Swahili for ‘Panda Miti’

An elated Eltezzy is using his energy and zeal to communicate to citizens in the streets.

The song is laid on traditionally fused instruments as Eltezzy’s commanding voice jams all through.

The musicality is not only brought out by the chants but also the repetition of the words ‘Plant a tree today’ and ‘Panda miti’ running through the chorus.

The video creatively complements it with it’s simplicity and the beautiful shots taken in a forest.

The tree planting moment is significant as it crowns it all.

In the verses Eltezzy carries the message of the benefits of taking care of mother nature.

From provision of rainfall, food to prevention of soil erosion you name it, the message is well driven home.

Environment Champion

Eltezzy(Gim Estates) is an environment champion, the someday singer has been creating awareness on climate change by not only advocating for the planting of trees but also on plastic pollution.

Using his trademark megaphone,he has traversed Kajiado and neighbouring Machakos county’s preaching that gospel.

He has also collaborated with youths in Kitengela town who grow and sell tree nurseries in improving green cover as well as for self-employment.

It’s well remembered that Eltezzy used the same megaphone to feed hundreds in Kajiado at the height of the ravaging hunger and drought experienced earlier in the year.

With songs like Kenya Yasonga mbele and Mungu mbele a collaborative piece with Kushman among others, Eltezzy also has an entrepreneurial side dealing in advertising and real estate (Gim Estates)

This year’s environment day celebrated on June 5th theme was ‘solutions to plastic pollution’. And like advocated by Eltezzy let’s all take care of the environment and make the world a better place
