A section of pastors in Embakasi and Pipeline areas in Nairobi are now calling on the government to re-open churches.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio news, the pastors say they are ready to adhere to the set directives should church doors be re-opened.
The clerics say they are ready to ensure worshippers observe social distancing as well as basic hygiene like hand washing in their premises.
“We would just like to ask the president to allow churches to be opened. We are ready to observe the set directives in terms of handwashing, observing social distancing and we will even go further to allow worshippers to come in groups.” Said Goerge Thiong’o a minister at Agape fellowship center in Mukuru kwa Reuben
