demolitionNairobi city county government now wants politicians in the county not to politicise the on-going demolition saying the exercise is meant to ensure the roads reserves and public land is brought back to control.

In an interview with Ghetto Radio News Head of Inspectorate Tito Kilonzi says the most affected areas are in Embakasi where a group of politicians has been telling Fedha estate residents to re-construct the recently demolished structures.

Kilonzi says the demolition is a multi-agency exercise being carried out by both the national government and county government of Nairobi and should not be used to settle political scores.

Meanwhile the county government  maintains that the exercise will continue untill those in reparian land and road resrves are done away with.
