Eric Omondi asked to delete explicit content on his channels

By Allan Omondi

Kenya Film Classification Board has withdrawn a case against highflying comedian Eric Omondi who was arrested last week for producing unclean content on his social media platform.

In a joint address today with Eric, KFCB Chief Executive Officer Ezekiel Mutua says they had a conversation with Omondi on Saturday where he requested the board to settle the matter outside court.

“The board has keenly examined the apology and requested for an out of court settlement and is willing to settle the case through the alternative dispute resolution,” Mutua said.

The two have also agreed that Eric will delete all the explicit content running on his online channels forthwith.

“We have agreed that he cleans his channels and if he wishes to continue with Wife Material Season two then he must apply for the same with the board but for now it stands suspended,” he added.

“I want to thank the board for this and it is also true that it is our responsibility to produce clean content. We shall be back and Wife Material content is still on,” Eric told the media.
