- Eric has reflected on his journey and likened it to that of the Israelites who wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.
- According to him this is the year of liberation for Kenyans.
Controversial comedian turned activist Eric Omondi is celebrating his birthday today and he has taken the opportunity to look back at his journey as he also made a vow to Kenyans.
Eric, through his Instagram page, has likened the current situation of the high cost of living to that of the Israelites who wandered in the wilderness for 40 years before entering the Promised Land.
“As I turn 41 today I can only reflect on the Journey and Prepare for a brighter future for me and my Countrymen. Just like the Israelites wondered the Wilderness for 40 years, I feel like this is the Year we start our Journey Into that PROMISED LAND.”

The comedian mentions that this year will be a great one since he feels like it will be a year of liberation to Kenyans as he sees a great future ahead.
“Very soon our lives will flow with Milk and Honey because this is the WILL OF GOD.” Reads the rest of the caption.

Just a week ago Eric landed in trouble with the authorities and was arrested at the City Stadium, Nairobi trying to distribute packets of flour (unga) to people.
The comedian had also planned a peaceful procession to State House to address the President on the rising cost of living which was supposed to happen on Tuesday 7th March, but he did not stick to his word.
