Etana Lands In Kenya For A Mega Concert In Nairobi

Jamaican reggae musician Etana arrived in Kenya today morning ahead of the Pamoja Festival set to be held on Saturday October 30, 2021, at Ngong Racecourse.

After arriving in Kenya, Etana had lunch with the Acting Nairobi Governor Hon Ann Kananu.

The musician said that the event will not only be a place for entertainment but people will use the platform to showcase their products.

During her arrival the Jamaican artist said that she is ready for the Pamoja Festival and cannot wait to entertain Kenyans.

“I am here and ready for the show and I hope everyone is also ready for the show. Thank you to Kenyans for the warm welcome and we are ready to perform, the show is going to be a show and I am ready for the party because where there is no curfew we party till morning,” said Etana.

Etana will be the first artist to perform live in Kenya after President Uhuru Kenyatta lifted the dusk to dawn curfew.

Hon Kananu added that the Pamoja Concert will also be an opportunity for youths to showcase the businesses.

“The Pamoja Live Concert will promote the youth businesses: flea markets and local vendors will be able to market and sell their products during the duration of the event. I fully support youth empowerment and self-sustenance,” Said Kananu.
