Teresia Wambui from Njiru is crying out for justice after her 25yr old son David Gitau Ng’ang’a went missing four weeks ago.

According to Wambui, her son Gitau was arrested at the Njiru stage where he spends most of  his time.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio News, Wambui says she has searched everywhere but all in vain..

“Police officers in plain clothes were apparently tipped by an informer before he was arrested alongside others and staffed in a car boot. And that was the last time Gitau was seen in public….I  have been to Kayole police station, Mama Lucy hospital, Kenyatta hospital and even city mortuary but am yet to see my son .” she said.

On Monday 16th September, Njiru residents held demonstrations over the disappearance  of Gitau but according the police all the allegations  do not hold water and that they did not have anybody  with that name in their custody..

Addressing the media   Kayole sub-county police commander Wilson Kosgei says  they are still investigating the matter insisting  that non of his officers arrested Gitau.

“There were some young men who held demonstrations over the claims. I was not aware of any missing person until they demonstrated.” Kosgei said.
