Grammy awards winner Celine Dion has cancelled yet another tour due to health issues. The Titanic theme song singer announced that, as her recovery from a recent health issue continues, she had to cancel her remaining shows of the North American leg of her “ Courage World Tour”.

Celine had finished the first 52 shows of the tour before the pandemic hit but has been unable to continue with the tour due to her health. The singer has recently been treated for “severe and persistent muscle spasms” and her recovery is taking longer than expected.

Through her official Instagram page, Celine said she was hoping to have recovered by now but has to follow her doctors Instructions as her medical team continues to evaluate and treat the condition.

“I was really hoping that I’d be good to go by now, but I suppose I just have to be more patient and follow the regimen that my doctors are prescribing,’ wrote Celine.

The icon explained her reason for cancelling her shows scheduled for March 9 to April 12 this early was due to the fact that a lot of preparation goes into her shows hence the need to make decisions which will affect plans two months down the road as early as now.

The singer had last year also cancelled her Las Vegas residency in October 2021 due to similar health issues. Her friends and fans from all over the world showed concern for her flocking to her comment section to give her encouraging messages.

One fan pointed out that she didn’t need the tour altogether stating, “You don’t need to do the world tour Celine.. just residency at Vegas – would be better.. get well soon.”

Celine acknowledged the good will messages stating she’ll be glad to get back to full health.

“I’ve been very touched by all the words of encouragement that everyone’s been sending to me on social media. I feel your love and support and it means the world to me,” wrote Celine.
