Fast rising gengetone star, Fathermoh has finally revealed parting ways with his group members, Mbuzi gang for a solo career.
According to Fathermoh the move created a rift, but he had no option but to leave.
“Nimekuwa na issues mingi sana as in imeleta issues mob obviously but saa hatuna option lazima ningeenda kivyangu at some point” Stated Fathermoh.

Fathermoh further added that they don’t converse as much as they used to.
However, they’re still in talking terms with the group.
“We don’t talk that much but tuko tu sawa” he said.
Mbuzi gang brought Fathermoh to the limelight from their runaway hit Shamra Shamra.
Fathermoh further disclosed that he chose a solo career so as to achieve his full potential.
He also did not like being referred to as Mbuzi gang.
The split
Splitting from the group was also not a walk in the park as they had created a tight bond.
His record label, Black Market Records was also hesitant but willingly agreed due to Fathermoh churning out hit songs.
“At first ilikuwa very hard kuniachilia ati niwork pamoja, walikuwa wanaona nikaa itaharibu niki work peke yangu but sasa vile kuliendelea natoa tu mangoma kali wakaona niko na potential wakaanza kunisupport” He narrated.
Formerly, Mbuzi gang was comprised of a duo namely, Joefes and Iphoolish.
Fathermoh would later join the bandwagon at the height of gengetone’s rise in 2020.
However, as the group attracted recognition, Fathermoh did not like being referred to as Mbuzi gang.

“Tulisaidiana wote because I gave them good songs, they gave me good verses, quality videos, quality audios” He narrated partly.
His first song with the group was ‘Wagithomo’ followed up with, Shamra Shamra featuring Mejja which performed quite well.
He has been termed as the next big thing as far as Kenyan music is concerned.
