Msambweni MP Elect Feisal Bader has attributed his win to Deputy President William Ruto and his tangatanga affiliates for his win.

Bader acknowledged former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama, former senators Hassan Sara and Bonny Khalwale for holding his hand.

“I thank the Deputy President because he stood by me after the ODM Party abandoned me,” he said.

Bader who is also a kin to the deceased MP Suleiman Dori clinched the seat with 15,521 beating his ODM counterpart Omar Boga who got 10,444.

Bader has pledged to work for the people of Msambweni and represent them well in parliament.

The hotly contested by election was marred with violence that saw Muthama arrested by police officers.
