Jastus Kamoja the man caught on camera assaulting a female security guard had reportedly tried an out of court settlement with the female guard.
A relative close to Kamoja says that before Kamoja’s arrest, they had approached the female guard and asked her if she could accept an offer from Kamoja.
The female guard reportedly demanded Ksh. 500,000 from Kamoja to drop the case.
The source who spoke to Ghetto Radio exclusively says that Kamoja who is born and raised in Bahati area could not afford the the money being demanded by the female guard.
Kamoja was arrested on Tuesday and arraigned at the Makadara Law Courts.
He was however released on a cash bail of Ksh. 100,000.
In the video, the 30 year old man is seen alighting from his vehicle then slapping and shoving on the ground a female guard who was trying to block his way.
It is not clear why the female guard was blocking Kamoja’s way but he seems to have been angered by the move.
A woman who was apparently Kamoja’s mother and a middle aged man are then seen getting out of the car in attempt to stop Kamoja but he ignores them and goes on with assaulting the woman.
After assaulting the guard, Kamoja then goes back to the car and throws out his mother’s luggage then drives off leaving his mother and the other man stranded.
