By Allan Otieno
Kware residents in Embakasi South Constituency today woke up in a shock after fired razed down there businesses stalls and a nearby church.
According to the residents the fire started in one of the hotels before spreading to nearby stalls.
“The fire razed Vibandas just near Betin Building and and Boshen Church. We are suspecting power problems to be the cause and many small scale traders have lost properties,” a resident told Ghetto Radio News.
Meanwhile area MCA Rose Kula has appealed to the residents to stop illegal connection of the electricity saying that most of the fire incidences in the area have been caused by illegal connectivity.
“It’s fortunate that no one has been hurt in the early incident but moving forward let us desist from the illegal power connection and from what I have gathered this connections could be the cause of the fire,’’ Kula said.
