Drawn from 20 branches across the country, the officials expressed their disappointment in court cases leveled against the Federation.

This as they noted that the Federation has internal dispute resolution mechanisms that should be explored before seeking recourse in external courts.

“We as the real football stakeholders are dissapointed that some individuals have resorted to leveling court cases rather than exploring our in-house dispute resolution mechanisms,” said FKF Aberdares branch Secretary General James Kamau.

“FKF Members ratified the Electoral Board as well as the Electoral Code at this year’s Annual General Meeting.

Those who have gone to the courts are not members but people who want to take our football back to its dark days,” FKF Aberdares branch Secretary General James Kamau

This comes amid a Sports Dispute Tribunal ruling set to be made on Tuesday, pertaining a court case challenging the constitution of the Board as well as the electoral code.

FKF County elections have in the meantime scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2019, while the national polls will be held on December 7, 2019.
