Football Legend Dennis Oliech Retires from International Football


OliechFormer Harambee Stars Skipper Dennis Oliech on Thursday officially announced his early retirement from football.

Oliech who a few weeks ago was appointed Betway ambassador has been without a club to play for,for months now. He last played for Kenya when they lost against Zambia Chipolopolo in Nairobi last year.

Having banged 34 goals for the national team, Oliech sits at second all-time best goal scorer for Kenya, a goal shy of Ouma Chege’s total.

Oliech has been the key player and pillar at Harambee Stars over the years scoring important goals from the time he made his debut in 2002.

The Dennis Oliech testimonial will be the highlight of his career as stars such as Victor Wanyama and his former colleagues at Auxerre,Ajaccio and Nantes are expected to grace the occasion.
