Omar Boga former Bongwe-Gombato Ward representative has won the Orange Democratic Movement ticket for the upcoming Msambweni MP by-election that take is slated place on December 15th.
Boga garnered 6,183 votes and was followed closely by Nicholas Zani who got 530 In 61 polling centers.
The former Gombato Bongwe MCA will now go head-on with Mr Feisal Bader who is being supported by DP William Ruto.
Mr Bader received Dr Ruto’s support a day after the ruling Jubilee Party opted not to field a candidate in the mini poll.
The Msambweni parliamentary seat was declared vacant by IEBC early this month following the death of Suleiman Dori.
