Former Lawmakers NETO, Mweke Reject BBI Report, Say It For Political Heavyweights

United Green Movement Party has now opposed the BBI report saying it is only meant for the elite and political bigwigs.
Addresing the media on Friday, United Green Movement Party leader Agostinho Neto criticized the content of the report saying most of the proposals can be realized through implementation of the 2010 constitution.
‘‘President Uhuru knows the disease but he has failed to give us the correct medicine..its not bringing tribal shift to the table and in fact as united green movement party the parliamentary system is good but that does not mean that we sit somewhere and say we need a prime minister No..Kenyans must reject it,’’ Neto said.
The same were echoed by co- party leader Jonathan Mueke who asked Kenyans to reject the report in totality.
Spearheaded by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga, the document has been touted as the blueprint for Kenya’s journey to becoming a place of peace, unity and prosperity.
The president has urged Kenyans to read the document before the official launch on Monday at Bomas of Kenya.
