Former MMU Student Arrested For Threatening To Kill High Commissioner
Police have arrested a 34 year old woman in Utawala for reportedly getting involved in terrorism act.
Tracy Wairimu Ndegwa was arrested on Monday for sending two threatening letters sprayed with industrial chemical and hey fever pesticides to a High Commissioner in Nairobi.
According to a statement sent by the DCI, Ndegwa sent the two letters on Friday last week.
Apparently this is not the first time Ndegwa is being involved in such an act, in June 23rd, she had been involved in another terrorism act but that time she was targeting the Commissioner General of the Kenya Prison Service.
“The suspect had earlier on 23rd June, 2020 been arraigned charged with another terrorism hoax that targeted the Commissioner General of the Kenya Prisons Service, and has been out on cash bail,” said Ndegwa.
She is in police custody pending arraignment at Kibera Law Courts.
