Former Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal has been sentenced to 8 years in prison after he was convicted in Ksh.84 million graft case

The former county boss and 10 other co-accused persons were convicted of various charges among the conflict of interest and unlawful acquisition of public property.

Delivering the sentence on Thursday evening, Chief Magistrate Thomas Nzioki ordered Lenolkulal to pay a fine of Ksh.1 million or serve four years in jail for the offence of conflict of interest

For unlawful acquisition of public property, the former governor and his co-accused were also ordered to pay Ksh.1 million or serve four years in jail.
