Patrick Hinga who hit the headlines after his childhood friend Faith Ng’ang’a alias Wanja Mwaura helped him off the streets has passed on.
According to Faith though a social media post, Hinga died on Sunday morning.
The lass did not reveal what Patrick succumbed to, but she had earlier on disclosed that he had relapsed into addiction after leaving rehab.
“With deep sorrow I want to inform you that Hinga has rested. He passed on this morning. I don’t have the strength to say much right now. R.I.P my friend.” She wrote
Both Faith and Patrick became internet sensations after the lass posted photos of them together when she bumped into him on the streets.
Faith then bought her former classmate some food and made sure to take him for rehabilitation.
